If you love bongos and latin-jazz you will probably like this album. My first album of Jack Costanzo was his album "Bongo Cha Cha Cha" on record. Though a good album, it definitely leans more towards the latin side than jazz. This "Latin Fever" album is more jazz. According to an interview, Jack says that it was improvised on the spot, so the whole album is instrumental and is mostly covers. The song "Malaguena" is nearly eight minutes long and features a fantastic Eddie Cano piano solo that takes up most of the song. The sound quality of the CD is very good and also it has some liner notes. Overall this is a great CD and would make a good addition to any bongo lover's collection.
